Join the Build

Macksie is open source and built in public. Whether you write code, test software, design interfaces, or just believe the internet should belong to its users — there's a place for you.

Follow the Signal

The newsletter. Project updates, transmissions, and build milestones. No spam, no tracking, no third-party email service — just signals from the build.

Contribute Code

Macksie Core is written in Rust. The frontend is static HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The Android app is Kotlin with UniFFI bindings. All development happens in the open git repository.

Test Early Builds

Macksie is pre-release software. If you want to run the Keep on your own machine and report what breaks, that's valuable work. The more nodes in the wild, the faster we find the bugs.

Join Community Discussions

The Plaza is Macksie's public forum. Discuss the project, propose new Wards, share ideas for how a personal internet should work.

Report Bugs

Found something broken? File an issue in the git repository. Every bug report makes the software better for the next person who runs it.

Macksie is not a company looking for employees. It's a project looking for people who believe the internet should belong to the people who use it. No overlords. Free people. Open code.
